The three doors

The Three Gates is a simple technique that allows you to settle your body, speech, and mind into their natural state, or state of rest. This isn't a method invented by anyone; it's an innate resource that we all spontaneously turn to in certain situations. Establishing it as a habit before doing any activity is a good way to get started, no matter what you're planning to do. Making it a daily practice can automate it, so your system will spontaneously tend to reestablish itself in that state of rest, calm, and balance.
